Mike Oakley is a 42 year veteran of the photo industry. He and his wife, Laura, founded North Texas Pics in 2008, a fast growing school and volume photography operation serving elementary, middle school, high schools and youth league sports contracts throughout North Texas. Mike is an 18 year veteran of Eastman Kodak where he served on of Kodak’s first team of digital imaging specialists integrating digital into school and volume photography companies across the country. His experience includes five years at Pounds Photographic Labs developing and presenting customer training programs ion digital workflows. From 2006 to 2009 Mike was President of PortraitEFX Franchising Corporation, a volume school and family photography franchise with over 60 locations throughout the U.S.

He and Laura have a simple philosophy for NTX-Pics; provide the best quality school photography in Texas and use digital imaging, online ordering and social media to move the school picture experience into the online world of a new generation of Moms.
